Job Description Orthopedic Surgeon – Sports Medicine (Westminster, MD) Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join a leading orthopedic team in Carroll County, Maryland. This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of athletes—from collegiate programs to recreational participants—while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional patient care.Position Highlights:•Comprehensive Sports Medicine Division with D1 and D3 collegiate partnerships.•Academic and research involvement with access to resident teaching, clinical studies, and publication support.•Collaborative environment with specialists in trauma, total joint, spine, hand, and pediatrics.•Competitive base salary of $400K–$450K, plus wRVU and quality incentives.•Full benefits, 403(b)/457(b) retirement plans, FSAs, CME allowance, and free parking.•Four required call days per month with opportunity for additional coverage.Qualifications: •MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.•Completion of an accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship.•Eligible for an unrestricted Maryland medical license.Location:Enjoy living in Westminster, MD, just a short drive from Baltimore and Washington, DC, offering a balance of suburban comfort, cultural amenities, and access to outdoor recreation from the Chesapeake Bay to the Appalachian Mountains.
