  • Must pass DEA Clearance. Must pass Pharmacy Technician training entrance exam.
    License, Certification, Registration
    • CA Registered Pharmacy Technician
    • Registered by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
      
      Additional Requirements:
      • Typing 30 wpm. All testing must be completed by the end of the posting period.
      • Requires standing for long periods of time and lifting 1 50 lbs. and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
      • Ability to read, understand, and transcribe pharmaceutical information.
      • Working knowledge of current drug forms, dosage strengths, and generic and trade names equivalents.
      • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services.
      • Ability to learn and operate pharmacy computer system and other equipment.
      • Ability to type prescription labels.
