Magnolia Surgery Center, is seeking a motivated GI and Pre-OP/PACU RN Full Time to join our team. Magnolia Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. We specialize in Ophthalmology and GI. Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing/Nurse Coordinator, the GI and Pre-OP/PACU RN provides exceptional patient care and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the clinical team. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
Position Requirements:


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • Current California Nursing License

  • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU and GI

  • Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred

  • Previous experience/certification in Conscious Sedation

  • Previous experience with Ophthalmology and Gastroenterology cases

  • Bilingual Vietnamese/English and/or Spanish/English a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient

  • Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation

  • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics

      Required Skills:
